Filderhalle Leinfelden – wedding photographer & videographer

The Filderhalle is one of the most booked halls in the south of Stuttgart – good motorway access, parking right by the building and a hall that can be laid out flexibly. Photographically it is a classic case: a neutral room, a lot of artificial light, and the picture comes from people and light rather than from the architecture.

That is why we put particular weight here on the décor shots before doors open and on a clean flash setup for the entrance and the stage. For portraits we drive ten minutes with the couple towards the fields – that is where the contrast to the hall comes from.

Light & best hours

Neutral hall light. We set up two off-camera flashes and use daylight through the foyer for as long as it lasts.

• Fields and avenues towards Echterdingen – a 10-minute drive
• Main entrance at night – continuous light for group shots

Good to know

• Fix the slot for décor shots with the organiser in advance
• A word with the technicians about stage lighting is recommended
