Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg – wedding photographer & videographer
Wedding photographer for the Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg – baroque symmetry, a clear visual language and a timeline that fits the Blühendes Barock gardens.
The Residenzschloss is one of the largest baroque palace complexes in Germany – and a gift for photography: symmetrical courtyards, long lines of sight, always a wall in shade. Even on a glaring July day you find soft light here within a five-minute walk.
Many couples combine the ceremony in the palace with a shoot in the Blühendes Barock gardens. It is worth it, but it needs planning: the permit has to be applied for in advance and the walk from the courtyard to the rose gardens takes a good ten minutes in a dress. We build that slack in from the start.
For the evening: at the blue hour – about 20 minutes after sunset – the lit façade gives pictures that are not possible during the day. Two minutes away from the celebration is entirely enough for it.
Light & best hours
The courtyards give soft shaded light all day. Blue hour at the main façade: about 20 minutes after sunset.
