Elif & Marco

Elif and Marco wanted to bring two traditions into one day without either of them feeling like an item on a programme. The morning belonged to the family, the afternoon to the ceremony in the White Hall, the evening to the celebration.

For us it was a day of many small transitions – and those are exactly what make a reportage like this. The best picture did not come from the shoot but from the moment Elif's grandmother held her hand just before the entrance.
